Description: Drainage & Facilities Design Unit provides design and support for smaller projects performed by either Division staff or Special operation staff. Services include: Design of culvert replacement projects; Design of storm drainage system repairs and new construction; Design of slope repair projects; Design of seawall and riverbank repairs; Preparation of SEPA documents; Design of Grading and Mining Plans; Design of storm water treatment and detention systems; Design of concrete pavement repairs; Building design; Minor bridge design; Security system design; Design of minor HVAC and electrical systems; Contract specification development for procurement of materials, equipment and services; PS&E development for building construction and repair projects; Contract administration for building construction and repair projects; Emergency response to road failures and oversee repairs under emergency conditions; Prepare Grading and Building permit applications; Design of water and sewer main extensions for county facilities.
