DES/RALS/ARMS - Archives |
| Description:
|
The Archives staff facilitates access to the historical records of King County government by preparing finding aids and providing reference services for anyone wishing to do research in those records. These researchers may include historians, genealogists, students, county personnel, and the general public. |
| Instructions:
|
The Archives are open for research by appointment. Please make your appointment at least one day in advance of your visit. When you call the Archives, it is helpful if you give the reference staff as much information as you have available so that we may locate the records you will need for your research. Records in the Archives collection do not circulate--you may not check them out. The Archives staff will pull the records for your use in the Archives research room. Photocopies and reproductions of photographs may be ordered for a fee. |
