| Description: | The Drainage & Facilities Design Unit provides design and support for smaller projects performed by either division staff or special operation staff. Services include (a) the design of: culvert replacement projects; storm drainage system repairs and new construction; slope repair projects; seawall and riverbank repairs; grading and mining plans; storm water treatment and detention systems; concrete pavement repairs; water and sewer main extensions for county facilities; minor HVAC and electrical systems. (b) building and minor bridge design; security system design. (c) contract specification development for procurement of materials, equipment and services. (d) PS&E development for building construction and repair projects. (e) contract administration for building construction and repair projects. (f) emergency response to road failures and oversee repairs under emergency conditions. (g) preparation of SEPA documents; grading and building permit applications. | |||
