The Conveyance Inspection group in King County’s Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) inspects WTD’s assets to assess their condition and makes recommendations for actions to monitor, maintain, repair, and replace them. Facilities Inspection staff inspect roofs, conveyance systems, cathodic protection systems, treatment processing tanks, cranes, hazardous materials, paving, and coatings, linings, and sealants. They perform other services as well, including cleaning sewers, monitoring flows, and providing support to cities and utilities in King County and other groups in the County’s Department of Natural Resources and Parks.
