The King County Fair Housing Ordinance prohibits unfair housing practices in the rental, sale or financing of housing in unincorporated King County because of a person's race, color, religion, national origin, disability, sex, age, parental status, marital status, Section 8 housing subsidy, sexual orientation, gender identity, and/or use of a trained service animal. Persons who believe that they have experienced discrimination in housing have 365 days to file a complaint with OCR.
