Description: To investigate water quality complaints such as fishkills, sewage overflows and leaks, unknown spill, algae blooms, illegal dumping, construction de-watering activities, odor complaints, and other unusual environmental incidents generally fond in the greater King County wastewater service area. Complaints typically are located at sites such as streams, lakes, storm lines, and Combined Sewer Outfall's (CFO's). The Trouble Call Coordinator can respond promptly to environmental emergencies if necessary and collect water quality samples for analysis at the King County Environmental Laboratory.
Instructions: Complaints are usually forwarded to the Trouble Call Coordinator from jurisdictional (agency) staff at the local, state, and federal level through a referral process. Citizens are encouraged to contact their local jurisdiction for assistance prior to contacting the Trouble Call Coordinator.
