We provide professional level guidance to management and employees in the Wastewater Treatment Division for staffing, employee and labor relations and associated key processes. Services are provided with an eye to efficiency, cost effectiveness, continuous improvement principles, customer service, collaboration and consideration of critical business needs in a competitive business environment. We act as a resource for management and staff regarding King County Code, Personnel Guidelines, labor contracts and associated county-wide and department policies and handbooks. We coordinate implementation of varied programs. We advise and guide managers on employment law issues. We administer an integrated information system that assists our customers in their current and future business decisions and results in accurate pay for employees. We strive for the consistent application of procedures and policies to engender employee trust.
