Except for the Wastewater Treatment Division (see contact list below), all media relations and contact with reporters are handled through Public Affairs. Staff will advise on who is authorized and appropriate to be interviewed about a particular subject and coordinate with the Executive's Communications Director when appropriate. For announcements and news releases, always give staff as much advance notice as possible - one or two weeks for routine things, two months if you would like the Executive to participate. For long-term and large projects, integrate media relations staff in initial meetings and planning. Potential material for news coverage includes any work, accomplishment, milestone or legislation that illustrates the value of our work, major change in our work or operations or any work that is potentially controversial.
