Home Free Guarantee provides a guaranteed taxi ride home in the event of an emergency or unanticipated overtime when an individual cannot take his/her usual shared ride (transit, vanpool, carpool). An employer provides this benefit for all employees for a fixed cost, and for a fixed number of rides. |

To obtain a Home Free Guarantee ride, benefit eligible King County employees should call the employee transporation hotline at 206-477-5800. This service is available 24 hours a day. The authorization number that covers the cost of your trip is only valid for this trip. The only payment you need is for the driver tip. Driver tips are the responsibility of the rider and are not covered under the program. Once you have taken your taxi ride, sign and obtain a completed receipt (with fare cost clearly stated).
