The Air Quality and Climate Initiative includes both internal governmenta operations and external policies and projects. A sampling of activities includes: quantifying air pollutants from County operations; setting targets for reducing these emissions; developing a waste-to-energy biomass facility for the Enumclaw Plateau; analyzing options for incorporating use of biodiesel in the County vehicles; and participating in state and regional air quality activities. |
