King County partners with local towns to provide sandbag materials to the public free of charge during flood events. Before and during a flood event, the King County Flood Warning Center will distribute information on sandbag distribution sites and operating hours. Property owners are responsible for removing sandbag installations in compliance with their local jurisdiction’s regulations.
