| Description: |
The DHI Program designs, permits, and manages construction of small- to medium-scale projects that combine habitat elements with more traditional drainage-driven surface water projects. The program is in two parts, one funded by fees from the extended, or rural, side of the former service area boundary and the other by fees from the former, or urban, side. Projects are collected from various sources throughout the year and prioritized annually. Projects are typically identified and performed from the Divisions core business groups or through drainage complaints.
