A comprehensive flood warning and emergency response program that works closely with the National Weather Service, Corps of Engineers and the City of Seattle and other State, County and local agencies to provide up-to-date information on river conditions during major storm events. This includes flooding problems, road closures, and response to citizen and property owner inquiries, flood crest predictions and coordination with the King County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) for evacuations, emergency sandbagging and flood control facility inspections susequent to major seismic events.
